WhatsApp Channel 


WhatsApp is the channel that will allow your organization to interact in a personalized way with your customers, without losing the identity of your brand, and adapting it to the way in which conversations take place today.


My first job focused solely on Product ⭐💻. As Product Owner of the new BSP (Whatsapp Recognized Partner) team, an international team, in which I am in charge of transmitting the product vision and roadmap to the team, outlining the work on the product backlog and prioritizing it based on business value.

As Product Owner I have launched more than 10 features to the market, module enhancements or new modules to provide the customer with the best experience related to Whatsapp Business. In my role, I am in charge of managing the whole product process, from conception to launch. Part of my tasks also consist of:

  • Keeping up to date with new market trends, new Meta features, and competition.
  • Be an expert in whatsapp API to create technically feasible and viable products. 
  • Present satisfaction and product measurement metrics to the company committee.
  • Present to the company's stakeholders the new functionalities to promote sales and new customer acquisition.
  • Work hand in hand with Customer Success and Marketing to develop solid product strategies.

Research 

Keeping up to date with the new features that Meta is releasing for WhatsApp Business is key 🔑. Also, being aware of the roadmap for the coming months is essential for our direction 🗺️. I am actively participating in the meetups and webinars that WhatsApp is offering us 📅. Also, I am closely observing what our competition is doing and comparing with our own features. To dig even deeper, I analyze metrics of existing features and look for improvement opportunities through interviews, surveys, and more 🔍. My goal is to ensure that we are always in tune with what our users need and want.

Ideation 

Research gives us an idea of what we want to create, but to make it great, we need to look at it from all angles and listen to everyone. This is where wireframes come in, like magic maps 🗺️. I meet often with the design team to make sure everything is perfect. And let's not forget our friends, the user personas, we test our ideas with them to make sure we're on the right track 🙌. To get here, I already immersed myself in the Meta API and its wonders, so let's not create things that later won't work for us. let's go for success together! 🚀

 Design

After a lot of brainstorming 💡 we went on to shape our dreams with mockups and prototypes in Figma. I'm always with the UX/UI team, checking every detail and making sure everything is in place as a perfect puzzle 🧩. I also rely on the support of the talented UX writer to fine-tune the texts, so everything is understood perfectly. we can't forget the feedback! 📣 We test and listen to everyone to keep improving. Then we take the design to the technical team to make adjustments and create the final version. Let's go for that high definition! 🚀

Development

We're almost to the moment of action! 💪 First, I create what I call the HDU (User Story) with all the details and criteria for the team to be on the same page. I explain in detail what we hope to accomplish. When the development magic starts, I usually have meetings with the code experts ✨. We clarify doubts and check that everything works like clockwork ⏰. But here comes the interesting part: my team always surprises! I love that they think beyond the code, they come up with great ideas to improve our customers' experience! Sometimes, sparks of innovation even come out 💡. It's really exciting to collaborate as a team to bring ideas to life - together we make everything work even better! 🚀

Release

Before launching a new product on the market, we set the stage! 🚀 A good communication plan is essential. Imagine this: an exciting email to all customers, with a product sheet attached, and video tutorials ready to clear up any doubts. But that's not all! We also prepare an explanatory modal that appears on screen to make sure no one misses the action 🎬. And, hey, our Customer Success, support and marketing team is no slouch. We train them thoroughly so that they are prepared and can answer all questions about the new release.


Measurement 

After releasing a new feature into the world, we don't lose sight of anything! 👀 We track how everything is going through usage metrics 📊, satisfaction surveys 📋 and even return on investment (ROI) 💰. We want to know how you feel about this new feature.
